Chromalloy Names New General Manager at Paris Turbine Engine Operation
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Chromalloy announces that Jimmy Ravenne has been named General Manager of the company's turbine engine repair and maintenance operation near Paris, France.
"Chromalloy's France operation provides a wide range of services to operators throughout the world, specializing in the repair and overhaul of components for several turbine engines," says Scott Ransley, Chromalloy Vice President, Operations, Commercial Repair & Overhaul. "Jimmy's outstanding leadership and technical expertise will be a strong asset to the Chromalloy team, which serves commercial and military aerospace engine operators and the aero-derivative industrial segment."
Ravenne joins the organization from Secan, part of Honeywell's aerospace aftermarket operation in France, where he was the Integrated Supply Chain and site leader.
Previously he worked at Brit Air/Groupe Air France as Vice President of Engineering and Maintenance. He earlier worked for SR Technics in Zurich. He holds an engineering degree from the Engineer National School of Electronics & Radio Electric and a diploma from the Cachan Institute of Technology, both in France.
Ravenne replaces Christophe Lecanu, Controller, who served as interim General Manager.
The Chromalloy facility in France provides MRO for PW100, PW200, PW901, PT6, and JT15D engine parts, and also repairs low pressure turbine blades for CFM56 and CF6 engines.
