Baltimore to Host Aero & Defense Test 09/ITEA Annual Symposium

HAMPTON, ENGLAND — This year's Aero & Defense Test 09/ITEA Annual Symposium offers global aerospace and defense R&D and operational test and evaluation professionals insights into cost-saving, new business opportunities, and latest technologies in test applications. The event also includes educational presentations for test and evaluation, aerospace, alternative fuels, fuel cells, and aircraft recycling.

Maryland's Baltimore Convention Center will host the event from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2009. The Aero & Defense Test 09/ITEA Annual Symposium is the world's leading event for the aerospace and defense R&D, T&E, and OT&E industries. More than 150 exhibitors will offer testing, inspection, evaluation software, and products, complemented by a series of technical, business, and educational programs featuring some of the biggest names in the business.

As well as considering what new fuels and fuel cell technologies are being researched and developed, the program will look at the response by carriers and OEMs, as well as relative inter-government/regulatory developments. For example, it will also seek to identify any likely barriers. Looking at civil and military airframes, engines and power plants, landing gear, avionics and cabin interiors, the program will also cover end-of-life management, waste reduction, re-use of recycled materials including carbon fiber, and future recycling targets.
