East Alton, IL, August 11, 2009 – West Star Aviation’s East Alton, IL, (ALN) facility recently completed AirCell High Speed Internet Systems on the Cessna Citation 650 and the Dassault Falcon 50 aircraft.
The AirCell High Speed Internet solution allows crews and passengers connectivity to Wi-Fi devices such as laptops, smart phones, and PDA’s for email and VPN. The AirCell system can operate at speeds of up to 3.1M for uplink to the aircraft and 1.8M downlink to the aircraft.
