FlightSafety Names Debbie Jones Assistant Manager Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center
LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (August 18, 2009) – FlightSafety International announces that Debbie Jones has been named Assistant Manager of the company’s Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas. She will continue to serve as Director, Customer Support.
“Debbie is a highly experienced and capable leader with excellent business acumen who is committed to excellence in Customer service,” said Greg McGowan, Vice President Operations. “The Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center management team of Marlin Schaefer and Russell Axtell look forward to having Debbie join them as Assistant Manager. Together they will continue to provide the high quality training and service our Customers value and appreciate.”
She joined FlightSafety in 1999 as Manager, Customer Support at the Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center. She was promoted to Director, Customer Support in 2006 with responsibility for Customer Support throughout the company’s network of Learning Centers. In addition, Debbie was also responsible for the management of FlightSafety’s Quality Management System.
Debbie was a Manager and Systems Analyst for the Boeing Airplane Company involved in the company’s Lean Manufacturing program before joining FlightSafety. She also owned and operated a real estate appraisal firm and taught mathematics at several high schools in Kansas.
She received a Masters of Total Quality from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Masters in Behavior Disorders from Wichita State University. Debbie also holds a Private Pilot Certificate.
