INDIANAPOLIS, IN, Sept 15, 2009 – Million Air, one of the largest private aviation service companies in the world, announced today that it has acquired Signature Flight Support Corporation’s ex Hawker Beechcraft facility at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) in satisfaction of a Consent Decree between Signature and the United States Department of Justice requiring such divestiture by Signature as a condition to the approval of Signature’s acquisition of the seven Hawker Beechcraft Services FBO’s approximately one year ago. Signature continues operations at its historic FBO location at IND.
As of September 15th, Million Air will begin operating the Fixed Base Operation servicing general aviation aircraft at IND, assuming the fueling operations previously conducted by Signature and Hawker Beechcraft Services.
