TIMCO Enters Five-Year Contract to Provide Maintenance & Modifications for Thomson Airways B767-300s
OCTOBER 2nd, 2009, GREENSBORO, NC ... Leading MRO Provider TIMCO Aviation Services announced today that the company has entered a five-year B767-300 maintenance and modification contract with Thomson Airways, internationally recognized as one of the United Kingdom’ and Europe’s premier holiday charter carriers.
The contract, which also includes an additional two-year option, provides Thomson secured hangar capacity at TIMCO’s Greensboro, North Carolina MRO location for all their scheduled heavy maintenance and modifications. In the first year of the program, which started in September, TIMCO will also install APB B767 winglets and new inflight entertainment systems on the Thomson B767-300 fleet.
John Eichten, TIMCO’s Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, noted that, “TIMCO is very eager to work with Thomson Airways on their B767-300 aircraft. It confirms our customer’s confidence in the extensive B767 capability on both the scheduled maintenance and modification experience at TIMCO.”
