“Satcom Direct is passionate about developing flight department support solutions that integrate seamlessly and utilize the latest technology across multiple platforms,” said Jim Jensen, founder and owner of Satcom Direct. “SD Flight Tracker is a global, web-based flight tracking solution that is compatible with VHF, Iridium, Inmarsat, and broadband networks, along with multiple avionics systems. It is also the first flight tracker to provide real-time status of aircraft Satcom systems, and it connects into FlightDeck Freedom, allowing users to track their flights worldwide utilizing datalink position reporting.”

SD Flight Tracker offers a high degree of customization, including global maps, tracked planes, defined fleets, and flight information displays. The real-time weather overlay feature includes U.S. NEXRAD and global satellite cloud coverage. Other key features of SD Flight Tracker include real-time access to aircraft satcom log-on and call data, datalink message logs, take-off and landing reports, and flight history of routes flown.

SD Flight Tracker will be available for demonstrations in Satcom Direct’s booth (#3208) at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando, Florida, October 20 – 22 at the Orange County Convention Center.
