ATP announced a new Job Board for Aviation Maintenance professionals this week. This new job board further expands the AskBob online community by connecting job seekers with potential employers providing another benefit to the overall industry.

The AskBob online community facilitates employers and employees to connect in order to help every AMT get back to work. To further increase our ability to get the word out about current job openings we have also started a Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/AMT_jobs. The feed is integrated with the AskBob Job Board pages. Members who post job openings on AskBob will have their posts automatically sent to the AMT_Jobs Twitter feed so that AMTs following AskBob on Twitter will get immediate confirmation of the new job posting.

In addition every job is syndicated to LinkedIn, MySpace, Simply Hired and other key social media and job sites. AskBob's Job Board and @AMT_Jobs Twitter feed brings job posters a simple and single source to broadcast their job openings using Social Media with no extra work. “Job seekers will love this simple single source to get the latest job postings by following AMT_Jobs on Twitter or by receiving the e-mail feed of AMT Jobs,” said Bob Jones, Managing Editor for AskBob.

AskBob is an online aviation maintenance community created by ATP to serve aviation maintenance professionals. The AskBob aviation maintenance community can be found at www.AskBob.aero and can be viewed through ATP’s NavigatorV® software platform. It can also be followed on two Twitter feeds - @AskBob_aero and @AMT_Jobs and on the AskBob Facebook page and multiple LinkedIn groups. "Our expansion into Social Media has been an exciting endeavor and provides an additional way for the aircraft maintenance community to connect." said Bob Jones, Managing Editor for AskBob.
