Pelican Names Paul Britton As Technical Sales Manager

With more than 20 years of reusable packaging experience, Britton will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will focus his efforts on supporting and developing relationships with key Pelican defense customers.

TORRANCE, CA – November 17, 2009 – Pelican™ Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases, has hired Paul Britton in the newly created position of Technical Sales Manager.

With more than 20 years of reusable packaging experience, Britton will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will focus his efforts on supporting and developing relationships with key Pelican defense customers including Government Engineering Centers and major defense contractors.

“I’m confident that Paul’s knowledge and experience in custom packaging solutions will greatly benefit our customers in the defense contracting sector,” said Mark Rolfes, Pelican’s Vice President of U.S. Sales. “His skill set is tailor-made for this market and both our Pelican and Pelican-Hardigg Case products. I look forward to working with Paul in meeting the diverse needs of our customers.”

Prior to joining Pelican, Britton was East Coast Packaging Engineering Manager for ECS Composites, the Central Regional Sales Manager for Zero Corporation and, most recently, he was National Sales Manager for Zarges Case Company. Over the course of his career, he has secured numerous long-term, large volume government and commercial contracts and has provided custom packaging solutions to numerous defense industry giants.

Britton holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Michigan State University specializing in Packaging and Computer Science. He also is a member of the National Security Industrial Association (NSIA).
