On Friday Dec. 11th, 2009 at American Airlines' Hangar 2 at DFW Airport. AA and the DFW Airport sponsored an Aviation Career Day Expo for students ranging from grades 4 through 8. There were several thousand kids that attended from schools around the Dallas Metroplex. There were booths sponsored by the FAA, Tarrant County College, TSA, USN, DFW Police, NCATT, etc. The AA Aircraft Maintenance Booth was manned by myself and several other AMTs. We had a bust of Charles E. Taylor and his biography on display, as well as a safety wire board and an electrical wire cannon plug board. Although I was representing AA I was also promoting the AMTSociety.
