EMTEQ has developed an LED map light holder to replace older technology.

New Berlin, Wis, USA (March 8, 2011) – Working with Eurocopter in Germany, EMTEQ has developed an LED map light holder to replace older technology. The LED version offers many advantages over previous bulb versions including lower power consumption, extended reliability, lower weight, robust design resistant to vibration, and elimination of NVG filters. The dual mode map light is suitable for both civil and military operations with both white and NVIS green light outputs. The light is RTCA/DO160 tested.

Specializing in applying new technology to customer requests, EMTEQ was selected for this project as they were able to provide a quick to market solution while maintaining excellent quality and delivery performance.
