Héroux-Devtek's Longueuil Landing Gear Employees Ratify Three-Year Agreement

Its 335 unionized employees at its Longueuil Landing Gear product line facility have voted in favour of a three-year collective agreement.

LONGUEUIL, QC, April 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Héroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX: HRX), a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace and industrial products, today announced that its 335 unionized employees at its Longueuil Landing Gear product line facility have voted in favour of a three-year collective agreement which extends through May 1, 2014. Workers involved are affiliated with the CAW-Quebec.

"The stability provided by this three-year agreement will enable the Company to further focus on improving its productivity in order to meet the challenges of a strong Canadian currency," said Gilbert Guérin, Héroux-Devtek's Corporate Director, Human Resources.

The Longueuil operations consist of two facilities that manufacture as well as repair and overhaul landing gears for the military and commercial market.
