APRIL 26, 2011, Toledo, Ohio – DeVilbiss, Binks and Owens Community College have teamed up to present a NESHAP Subpart HHHHHH “6H” training program. This half-day intensive training program is scheduled for September 6, 2011 in Toledo, Ohio. Training is conducted from 1-5 pm and includes both classroom and “hands-on” sessions. Certification is awarded upon successful completion. Attendees should be involved in any of the following:

• Paint stripping operations that use methylene chloride (MeCl)-containing paint stripping formulations;

• Spray application of coatings to motor vehicles and mobile equipment;

• Spray application of coatings to a plastic and/or metal substrate where the coatings contain compounds of chromium (Cr), lead (Pb), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), or cadmium (Cd).

DeVilbiss and Binks pioneered the development of spray finishing equipment over a century ago and continue to refine and improve processes for spray finishing. The Workforce and Community Services Division at Owens Community College is dedicated to partnering with industry to provide focused education and training programs for traditional and non-traditional students.
