FL Technics, an integrated aircraft maintenance and repair services provider, continues to extend its already impressive capabilities’ list by undertaking the provision of Bombardier CL600-2B19 aircraft planning and engineering services. All the required compliance checks were performed by the Administration of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania which issued the company with the EASA Part-M certificate.
‘Adding Bombardier to our list of serviced aircraft is part of the ongoing plan to further strengthen our position within the aircraft technical support and maintenance sector. USD 20 million that we are ready to invest into the expansion of our services’ spectrum until 2015 will go a long way towards securing that position. The money is to be spent on acquiring more capacious hangars and thus increasing the number of aircraft the company can readily service at a time.’ – commented the CEO of FL Technics Jonas Butautis.
According to J.Butautis, the previously predicted rise in Bombardier demand in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS was yet another important factor that motivated the company to seek for an opportunity to service this new type of aircraft. Nowadays there are more than 2500 operated commercial Bombardier aircraft in the world and over 1700 are ordered and awaited by various regional airlines as we speak.
To this day FL Technics has been providing technical support and maintenance services for Boeing 737 CL, Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 757, SAAB, Airbus A320, ATR Embraer 135 types of aircraft.
