EADS SECA to Offer Engineering Services on P&WC Engines
GONESSE, France (September 29, 2011) – As part of its ever expending Engineering Services package and after four years of Integrated Power Plant Management activities for Large and Small Turbine engines, EADS SECA is extending this service to Airlines and single aircraft operators alike. As a CAMP Designated Analysis Centre (DAC) EADS SECA will be providing Engine Health Monitoring and Trending services forTurboprop, Turbofan and Turbo-shaft engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) via WebECTM®.
The service package includes associated services such as troubleshooting, Continued Airworthiness Management, oil consumption analysis, maintenance tracking and maintenance programs evolution customized to specific needs, environment and utilization.
With more than 60 years of engine experience as an engine MRO, EADS SECA is uniquely qualified to offer this comprehensive Engineering Service being the only entity that is at the same time a DAC and a DOF (Designated Overhaul Facility) for selected Turboprop and Turbofan engine models. "This dual competency enables us to better understand and manage fleets of engines by an optimized monitoring capability that will permit longer MTOW (Mean Time On Wing) and in case of an issue, a quick diagnostic with associated remedies" says Bernard Michaud, Vice President Engineering.
