Bratislava Airport to take EUR 43mn bank loan to complete new terminal

Slovakia's Bratislava Airport will take a bank loan of EUR 43mn to co-finance the completion of a new arrivals terminal, TASR news agency reported. The airport operator expects to sign the loan agreement with a consortium of banks by the end of July 2012. The terms of the loan will be revealed after the contract is signed. Letisko M. R. Stefanika-Airport Bratislava is 100% owned by the Slovak government. The previous cabinet planned to lease the airport for a period of 30 years, but the new government, which came into power in April 2012, has not yet announced its plans.
