Hertz: Gold Choice Program Added at London Heathrow and Stuttgart Airports
Hertz, a general use car rental brand, is bringing its Gold Choice program to Europe as an additional service for Hertz #1 Club Gold members, following a successful launch in the United States, to London Heathrow and Stuttgart Airports.
In a release dated Feb. 7, the Company said ow available at London Heathrow Airport and Germany's Stuttgart Airport, Gold Choice gives Hertz #1 Club Gold members who reserve a compact car or larger, the freedom to choose an alternative comparable vehicle at time of pick up to drive instead at no extra charge. The Gold Choice program is offered in addition to the legendary counter bypass service pioneered by Hertz in 1989 to allow Hertz #1 Club Gold members to go straight to their pre-assigned car at pick uphertz.co.uk.
Michel Taride, President, Hertz International and Executive Vice President, Hertz Corporation, said: "At Hertz, we understand the ever-changing needs and requirements of our customers. With professional and personal plans constantly changing, often at the last minute, we want to ensure that our customers drive away in the car that is most suited to them at that moment in time. Gold Choice gives our customers the peace of mind that the car category they booked will be waiting for them, while allowing them to choose an alternative make and model should they wish."
For customers who wish to upgrade their car, there will also be a Gold Choice upgrade section with specialty and premium cars available at an additional per day charge.
In addition to Germany and the UK, Gold Choice is available at more than 30 airport locations in the U.S.
