Medford Airport officials announced that a new full body scanner has been delivered at the airport. It is expected that with this scanner the security screening process will be accelerated. The officials stated that instead of a pat down that takes three to four minutes, the scanner will do the job in some seconds. The image shown is very generic and looks more like a 'gingerbread' man than an individual person, said Airport's director.
