Delta Air Lines Offers Twitter Channel in Spanish
Travel Business Review - 20 December 2011 Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), a US-based airline company, has announced the launch of its Twitter channel for Spanish-speaking passengers.
The airline is introducing its @DeltaAssist_ES pilot programme on Twitter, a social media website, for its Spanish-speaking passengers in US and Latin America. The handle, @DeltaAssist en Espanol, offers real-time travel assistance, including flight information, bookings and baggage tracking information, in Spanish. Allison Ausband, the airline vice president for reservation sales and customer care, said, 'Since launching @DeltaAssist en Espanol, we've received very positive feedback from our Spanish-speaking customers throughout Latin America and the Caribbean who've taken advantage of the service and view it as an essential tool for managing their travel plans.'
