Oman Air Unveils Its Newest Business Class Lounge at Bangkok International Airport

Dubai, Dec. 18 -- Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has unveiled its newest Business Class lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The lounge which is conveniently located at the second floor junction between concourses G and E of the International terminal will offer its passengers flying in First and Business class on Oman Air with its "award winning" service and hospitality as found onboard all of its aircraft.

Dubai, Dec. 18 -- Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has unveiled its newest Business Class lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The lounge which is conveniently located at the second floor junction between concourses G and E of the International terminal will offer its passengers flying in First and Business class on Oman Air with its "award winning" service and hospitality as found onboard all of its aircraft.

The new lounge The Oman Air lounge that has been designed in accordance with the new Lounge Concept set in place by the Airline can accommodate up to 40 passengers in exquisite luxury. The facilities available for Premium class passengers to avail include the use of the business centre with private work stations equipped with free broadband and WiFi. In addition, the lounge will feature an array of tasty complimentary hot and cold snacks comprising of traditional Arabic fayre and Oriental dishes prepared under the direction of the chef of the renowned Dusit Thani Hotel - Bangkok. Furthermore, guest can choose to relax with a selection of hot beverages, fresh juices, or an aperitif from the bar station, whilst having access to satellite television or browsing through the selection of local and International newspapers & magazines. Passengers will also have access to sleeper couches in a specially allocated "quiet area" for those with longer connections whom just need time to unwind. At the official opining, Ahmed Hazeem al Balushi, district sales manager, Oman Air, Bangkok said "I am very happy to open this wonderful Lounge, which comes in our new design. We have focused on the needs of our customers; furthermore the new lounge at Suvarnabhumi International Airport provides our premium guests with ideal conditions for a relaxed stay before their departure. Just like our customers, we waited eagerly for this day." Aaron Claxton, General Manager of Catering for Oman Air said, "The opening of this new lounge is a testament of Oman Air's continual strides in providing its passenger with a seamless travel experience offering "5 star" services and traditional Omani Hospitality from the moment they enter the lounge in Bangkok. The lounge has been designed with particular consideration to offering a tranquil and calming oasis whilst still retaining many of the features of its flagship lounge which opened in Muscat in January 2011."
