Czech Omnipol Buys High-Tech Surveillance Firm ERA

Czech arms and trading company Omnipol has bought high-technology aircraft surveillance technology provider ERA based in the Czech Republic, ERA said in a statement. The value of the deal was not disclosed. ERA was a subsidiary of US firm SRA. Based in Pardubice, ERA supplies next-generation surveillance and flight tracking solutions for the air traffic management, military, security and airport operations markets. The company has over 100 airport, air traffic management and military clients in Europe, the US, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia. Omnipol ranks among the largest domestic traders in military and aviation technology.
