Nov. 22--Get there early: Palm Beach International Airport expects today to be its busiest day of the year with 26,000 passengers coming and going.

Airport officials are recommending travelers get to the airport two hours before departure times.

Thanksgiving is traditionally a busy time for air travel and as many as 160,000 travelers are expected to pass through the airport during the week.

The Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving is often the busiest day and this year Tuesday appears to have that honor, a PBIA spokeswoman said. Passengers should check flight information before coming to the airport, officials recommend.
