Byline: Benzinga Staff    Grupo Aeromexico Transported One Million 131 Thousand Passengers in    September    PR Newswire    MEXICO CITY, Oct. 13, 2011    MEXICO CITY, Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B de C.V. ("Aeromexico") ( BMV: AEROMEX ), the largest intercontinental airline in Mexico, reports its operating statistics for September.    In September 2011, Grupo Aeromexico transported one million 131 thousand passengers; the highest number for the month of September in the Company's history. This represents a 5% increase compared to the prior year; a time when Grupo Aeromexico registered an abrupt increasein passengers transported as the direct result of consolidation thathad occurred in the Mexican aviation industry. International passenger traffic grew 28% in September 2011, while domestic passenger traffic decreased 2% year over year. During the first nine months of the year, Grupo Aeromexico transported a total of 10 million 565 thousand passengers; a 27% increase over the number registered for the same period in 2010.    Demand in September, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), grew 12% year over year. Capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), registered a 19% increase. It is important to note that during the month of September, Grupo Aeromexico took advantage of low seasonality to perform maintenance tasks on five narrowbody airplanes; standard maintenance is three airplanes per month. This therefore reduced the Company's potential capacity for the month. The load factor for September was 75.5%. The cumulative load factor for the first three quarters of the year was 78.6%.                                                                             September        YTD September                                      2011  2010  Chg%   2011  2010  Chg %                                    RPK's Itinerary + Charter (Millions)                              Domestic  693  725  -4%   6,729  5,796  16%                          International  1,125  901  25%   9,958  7,399  35%                    Total  1,819  1,625  12%   16,687  13,195  26%                                                                                                  ASK's Itinerary + Charter (Millions)                              Domestic  944  941  0%   8,806  8,067  9%                            International  1,478  1,089  36%   12,550  9,202  36%                Total  2,422  2,030  19%   21,355  17,269  24%                                                                                                 Load Factor (Itinerary)    p.p.     p.p.                            Domestic  73.6  77.4  -3.8   76.9  72.2  4.7                          International  76.7  83.3  -6.6   79.8  81.1  -1.3                    Total  75.5  80.5  -5.1   78.6  76.8  1.7                                                                                                      Passengers Itinerary + Charter ('000)                              Domestic  825  839  -2%   7,772  6,389  22%                          International  306  238  28%   2,793  1,922  45%                      Total  1,131  1,077  5%   10,565  8,311  27%                                                                                                                                                                        The information included within this report has not been audited and does not provide information on the Company's future performance.
