Allegiant starts new non-stop service to Owensboro

Allegiant Air started new two weekly nonstop services to Owensboro. The Allegiant will soon offer services to Lexington and Knoxville, from McCarran International Airport. Before flying to Las Vegas, Allegiant offered services from Lexington and Knoxville to its key destinations in Florida.

At present, except Allegiant no other airline offer services to Owensboro. Allegiant Air is offering services on Mondays and Fridays, between Owensboro-Daviess Regional Airport (OWB) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS). The first services will leave Owensboro at 12.20PM and reach LAS at 2.10PM. Bob Whitmer, Director of Owensboro-Daviess Regional Airport, said, The Tri-State has asked for Las Vegas flights for two and one half years and Allegiant has responded. October 14 is a great day for Owensboro as the initial Allegiant Las Vegas flight is the culmination of much hard work by the local governments, the citizens and the Airport Board. Allegiant provides everything the traveler needs including hotel rooms, car rentals, event tickets as well as the convenience of non-stop flights. The community has received what it requested; now the community must keep the flights full. This is a dream come true for Owensboro.
