EBACE, which is organized jointly by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and NBAA, has established itself as the largest uniquely business aviation event in Europe since first being held in 2001. The 2003 show is scheduled for May 7 to 9, 2003, at the Palexpo Conference Center in Geneva, Switzerland.
Meanwhile, NBAA is working with Brazil's Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG) on the inaugural LABACE exhibition, which is slated to be held March 13 to 15, 2003, at São Paulo's TransAmerica Expo Center with a Static Display of Aircraft at Congonhas Airport. The event will feature 300 vendor exhibits, a static display of aircraft, manufacturer maintenance and operations sessions, and seminars on topics ranging from safety and security to fractional ownership and airport access in Latin America.
ABAG's leader, Adalberto Febeliano, said 3,000 aviation professional are expected to attend LABACE 2003. He noted that Brazil ranks second only to the United States in many measures of civil aviation activity, including business aviation. "That's why we believe LABACE is a very important event."
