NATA will kick off its 10th Annual "Day on the Hill" and fall committee meetings on Monday, September 11, and conclude on Wednesday, September 13. The meetings will be held at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, VA.

"NATA's standing committees are absolutely critical to the association's success," says NATA President James K. Coyne. "Committee members help set NATA's regulatory and legislative agenda and are among the best informed people in our industry."

Topics for the fall committee meetings will include current regulatory and legislative updates, discussions on proposed changes to policy, and regular committee business.

The Sheraton National Hotel is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Complimentary shuttle service is available from the service desk located in the baggage claim area. Cab fare is approximately $20 one-way. The hotel also offers complimentary self-parking.

Guestroom reservations can be made with Sheraton reservations, at (888) 627-8210. The deadline is Friday, August 18, to receive the discounted room rate and guaranteed availability. The hotel requires a deposit of one night’s stay and tax. The deposit is refundable if notice is given directly to the Sheraton by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival. Discounted group rate is $189 single.

NATA’s 10th Annual Day on the Hill will be held on Wednesday, September 13. This event provides an opportunity for you to exercise one of the most critical roles of an NATA member: affecting the political process. Personal meetings with your representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate bring you face-to-face to discuss the important issues in our industry.
