Penauille Servisair, the Global Aviation Ground Services Company, announced in June 2006, to all Manchester, London Heathrow and London Gatwick employees, that they will be holding a competition during the World Cup to win a superb trip to Rome, the capital of the World Cup Winners, Italy.
The leading ground handling company monitored staff attendance and all those who achieved a 100% attendance record for both shift and overtime commitment through the duration of the World Cup were entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to the capital of the winning team and one week's free holiday and accommodation costs.
The lucky winners who will be flying out to the "The Eternal City", included Pat Monathan from Manchester, Gudrun Eastaugh from London Heathrow and Anthony Whale from London Gatwick.
Mr Whale, 59-year-old Ramp Agent at London Gatwick, commented, "I can't quite believe it, it's fantastic". The Ramp Agent, who has worked for Penauille Servisair for 18 years, added: "I have never been to Rome before so it will be a tremendous experience, I am a football fan but it never crossed my mind not to attend."
David Kershaw, Penauille Servisair Regional Vice President UK Gateways & Southern Europe commented, "This was a great incentive for our employees throughout the World Cup. Congratulations to you all and we hope you enjoy your stay in Rome."
