Nationwide Conveyor Gets Logan International Up and Running

Nationwide Conveyor Specialists, LLC, is proud to announce the completion of a 308 ft slope plate make-up unit installed in record time (7 days, turnkey) for US Airways at Boston Logan International Airport.

The job included the removal of the existing unit, install of the new one, modifying the existing three feed conveyors and all the electrical control standards, dual drives and VFDs.

"This job started out as a total refurbishment of the existing unit, but upon further inspection Nationwide Conveyor suggested it would be more cost effective to replace the unit; we always try to keep the customer in mind," says Richard Bugryn, founder and Head of Operations at NSC. We also made sure all work was done at night so we didn't interrupt normal baggage handling operation, which is very important to all airlines."
