The body of a man believed to be a stowaway was found Friday in an airplane wheel well after a Delta Air Lines flight from Africa landed in Atlanta, the airline said.
The flight had left Dakar, Senegal, more than nine hours before arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, airline spokeswoman Betsy Talton said.
Airline officials said the man was not carrying any identification.
No additional details were available pending a police investigation.
