Airbus 380 Leaves Los Angeles for France
A day after making its U.S. West Coast debut, the giant new Airbus A380 took off from Los Angeles International Airport to return to France.
The double-decked aircraft is the largest airliner in the world.
The airplane arrived in Los Angeles on Monday, shortly after another A380 landed in New York for the first time.
The aircraft is 239 feet (72.85 meters) long and seats 555 passengers in a typical three-class configuration or 853 in a one-class economy setup.
