Earlier Thursday, a man breached security at New JFK, forcing parts of two terminals to be evacuated. The man had not been found by Thursday evening.

Federal authorities detained and searched passengers arriving from New York City on the tarmac at Orlando International Airport.

Federal officials would only confirm that there was an incident at the airport Thursday night. They would not describe what took place after Delta Flight 1227 landed.

"It's part of an ongoing investigation," FBI spokesman Kevin Farrington told the Orlando Sentinel.

Earlier Thursday, a man breached security at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, forcing parts of two terminals to be evacuated, authorities said. The man eluded capture and had not been found by Thursday evening. Federal officials would not say if the incidents were related.

There were about 140 passengers on board the flight, Orlando airport spokeswoman Carolyn Fennell said.
