Houston — FMC Technologies (NTSE:FTI) announced that its Orlando based Ground Support Equipment business has executed a contract with Deutsche Post AG to supply all aircraft cargo loaders and conventional aircraft tow tractors for the new DHL hub located in Leipzig, Germany.
The efficient operating features, lower cost of maintenance, and added value from the lower lifetime total cost of ownership were key elements in selection of the loaders and tractors.
The large quantity order of loaders and tractors will be delivered over the next two years to support the new hub’s growth.
