SRS Tactical Announces Distribution Agreement for Wireless Headsets
North American Company SRS Tactical has just signed a sole distribution agreement to supply a Norwegian manufactured range of wireless hearing protection equipment, 121-CONNECT. The line of products provides 1 to 1 wireless communications between noise canceling (ear muff) headsets and dongles. The headsets and dongles use the latest Bluetooth technology to wirelessly pair with each other and create a full duplex (two-way communication simultaneously) wireless link of up to 200 meters apart. The dongles can be configured to connect to another Bluetooth device or communications headset to provide a wireless connection. Dongles can also be paired with other dongles to produce a wireless solution to an existing wired system.
The product line includes the 121-GROUND CREW, which has been especially produced for the aviation ground support industry. The 121-GROUND CREW headset uses the latest Bluetooth technology to wirelessly connect to the 121-GROUND CREW ‘dongle’ which plugs into the aircraft fuselage and provides the ground mechanic wireless communications with the flight deck for up to 50 meters (165 feet) radius of the dongle.
“I am delighted that we were able to gain a sole distribution agreement for this product line,” explains Steve Brown, president of SRS Tactical. “This is a fantastic product line in terms of quality, technology and functionality. The 121-GROUND CREW has been specifically produced for the ground support business and built to withstand the demands of that industry. The electronics provide clear and superior speech audio, whilst the headset protects the user from the high noise levels of being airside.”
SRS Tactical has been established since 2003 and operates from two offices in North America, one in Florida, USA, and the other in Calgary, Canada.
