JetBlue Records 6.6% Increase in November Passengers

JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) announced on Friday that it boarded a total of 1,769,723 passengers in November 2009, an increase of 6.6 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Revenue passenger miles for the month rose by 7.7 percent compared to November 2008, while available seat miles grew by 5.3 percent, resulting in a 1.7 percentage point improvement in load factor at 77.4 percent.

The airline's on-time performance for November 2009, as reported to the US Department of Transportation, was 89.1 percent and its completion factor was 99.9 percent.
