Servisair announced that through a highly competitive bid process, it has been awarded a multi-year ramp handling contract for Lufthansa Airlines at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston (IAH).
Servisair started the new services on April 1, 2010, providing Lufthansa the services for its daily Boeing 747-400 service to Frankfurt.
Commenting on the new contract, Dave Finch, vice president of business development for Servisair, stated: “We are extremely pleased that Lufthansa has selected Servisair among so many competitors as its ground handler for IAH. We intend to do our best to provide a world-class service to this strategic partner. Lufthansa’s choice reconfirms Servisair reputation as a dependable, high-quality and competitive service provider in the aviation industry.
Servisair provides services to Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo at eight other stations in North America.
