Sioux Falls, S.D. Airport Replaces Fed. Security With Private

The government allows airports to hire private firms that work under TSA.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Management of the Sioux Falls Regional Airport has opted to go with a private company to provide security at the airport.

The government started the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) after the September 2001 terrorist attacks, but now allows airports to hire private firms that work under TSA.
