Gov. Jeb Bush helped cut the ribbon at JetBlue Airways' new training facility, one of the largest economic development projects to come to Orlando in the past year.

About 100 crew members will teach recruits about the low-cost carrier's corporate policy and culture at the facility known as ''JetBlue U,'' or the JetBlue University Training Center. JetBlue Chairman and CEO David Neeleman also announced that the New York-based company would build a $20 million, 300-room lodge for trainees right next to the facility.

''We needed a campus, a place where people would want to come,'' Neeleman said. ''This is critical for the success of JetBlue.''
