April 2005 Airline Employment Down 2.8 Percent from April 2004

U.S. scheduled passenger airlines employed a total of 451,915 workers in April 2005, 2.8 percent fewer than in April 2004.

U.S. scheduled passenger airlines employed a total of 451,915 workers in April 2005, 2.8 percent fewer than in April 2004, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), a part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration, reported today.
