Denver International Airport Reports Record September as Busiest Month Ever

Denver International Airport, USA handled more than 3.45m travellers in September.

The airport said the figure makes the month its busiest September ever - corresponding to a 4.4% increase or a total of 146,016 more passengers compared to September 2004. The year-to-date traffic total for the airport is close to 33m, a 3.3% increase over the first nine months of 2004, The Denver Business Journal reported.

The airport also said that flight operations increased by 4.9% in September while cargo decreased by 2.4%.
