Tampa Int'l Airport Sees Smallest Monthly Traffic Increase This Year in October

The recorded passenger traffic at Tampa International Airport increased by 2.14% in October 2005.

The airport said that the monthly increase was the smallest so far this year. Tampa International Airport reported that more than 1.4m passengers were handled in October, increasing the year-to-date total to more than 14m.

According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the airport's traveller figures are up 10.71% in 2005 compared to the same period last year and are expected to top 18m this year, which would be a new record.
