3 Airlines' Passengers to Share Perks
Beginning Thursday, the U.S.-based carriers Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlines and Continental Airlines will allow their club members to use any of the three airlines' airport lounges worldwide regardless of which of the three they are flying.
The airlines will give members of Northwest WorldClubs, Delta Crown Room Club or Continental Presidents Club access to 90 lounges in cities including London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
The new alliance will give passengers access to the lounges' varying services. For instance, Delta has putting greens in its lounges, Continental offers showers as well as a clothes ironing service, and Northwest has espresso makers.
