Delta Adding RDU-Atlanta Flight

RALEIGH -- Delta Air Lines is adding an eleventh daily round trip flight to Atlanta from Raleigh-Durham International Airport effective June 8.

Atlanta is the leading destination from RDU. About 464,980 passengers flew between the two airports in 2004, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

AirTran, the only other carrier with nonstop service between the two cities, has five daily departures to Atlanta.
