Officials at Corpus Christi International Airport said Monday's rolling blackouts not only knocked out the power for a short time, but also the facility's air conditioning chillers, leaving travelers to deal with warmer indoor temperatures Tuesday.
Airport spokeswoman Amy Gazin said workers brought in fans Tuesday to keep the air moving, but temperatures topped out at 85 degrees inside the terminal.
She said temporary chillers were brought in later in the day and that air conditioning would be back to normal by this morning.
