A US federal judge has rejected a request to stop an Internet company that obtains Southwest Airlines boarding passes for its customers.

Southwest had reportedly sued the company, BoardFirst LLC, and accused it of illegally making money from the airline's business.

Federal District Judge Jane J. Boyle told the airline and BoardFirst.com to seek mediation before a trial is scheduled, The Associated Press reported.
