Woman Charged with Sexual Assault on US Airways Flight

An altercation on board US Airways Flight 1494 ended in a woman being charged with sexual assault yesterday (4 October).

According to Conan Bruce, a spokesman for the Federal Air Marshal Service in Washington, United States, the woman entered an argument with a male flight attendant and grabbed his buttocks during the altercation.

The aircraft was on its way from Charlotte, NC, to London, United Kingdom. The Associated Press reported that British police charged the woman with disrupting a flight and sexual assault when the aircraft landed at Gatwick Airport.
