AirTran Adds Service from Indianapolis

The airline will add seasonal direct service from Indianapolis to three Florida destinations from November.

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI), has said that the airline will add seasonal direct service from Indianapolis to three Florida destinations from November.

AirTran said it will add four direct flights each week to Miami and West Palm Beach, as well as increase existing daily direct service to Fort Myers. The service to Sarasota/Bradenton and Fort Lauderdale, as previously announced, resumes on 15 November 2006 with service to Fort Myers, Miami and West Palm beginning in December.

The new flights will be operated with Boeing 737 or 717-200 aircraft.
