Delta to Take Delivery of 777-200LR in 2008

The two aircraft will be equipped with fully horizontal personal sleeper suites in BusinessElite.

Delta Air Lines has said that it will be the first United States carrier to take delivery of Boeing's 777-200LR aircraft.

The airline said it will take delivery of two 777-200LR aircraft early in 2008 and the two aircraft will be equipped with fully horizontal personal sleeper suites in BusinessElite.

Beginning in autumn 2008 Delta will add a sleeper seat to the rest of its 777 fleet. In addition to lie-flat seating, customers in BusinessElite on international flights will also have access to digital entertainment on demand at every seat.
