Mesa to Serve Three New Destinations in Illinois

Mesa Air Group has said that it will launch new service from three Illinois communities to Chicago Midway.

The company said that the service to Decatur, Marion, and Quincy will provide daily flights connecting each market to Chicago. The service will be operated by Mesa's wholly owned subsidiary Air Midwest and will be operated under its independent brand, Mesa Airlines. The service will commence in early February 2007.

Mesa also said that the schedule and fares will be announced over the next few weeks. The new service will be operated with Mesa's Raytheon/Beechcraft B-1900D twin-turboprop aircraft.
