British Airways hopes to Buy Planes in 2007
British Airways has said that it hopes to place an order for new aircraft this year.
A spokeswoman reportedly said the airline would like to make orders this year after The Times reported that the company would spend £15bn over 15 years on aircraft. The newspaper said the airline would buy up to 135 long-haul aircraft.
According to Reuters, the spokeswoman also said there is competition for the orders between Airbus and Boeing.
