Medical Plane Crashes on Landing at Butler Airport
A medical plane carrying four people crashed while attempting to land at the Butler County Airport this morning.
Emergency officials said the plane, carrying a pilot, co-pilot, therapist and nurse, apparently overshot the runway before crashing in the back yard of the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department. All four people were taken to Butler Hospital for treatment of injuries, which appeared to be minor.
Officials said investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board have been called.
